MOLIT pre-announced the revision draft of KMVSS TP concerning Fuel system, AEBS, Crash Safety, etc. The revision intends:
- to harmonize the KMVSS TP with the relevant UN Regulations
- Definition of bumper corners with the UN R according to the new definition of the leg test area
- Harmonize the corrosion test procedures of seat belts with the UN R
- to update the test procedures in line with the promulgated KMVSS
- Occupant Crash Protection: Expand the scope for frontal and frontal ODB
- Fuel System Integrity: Expand the scope of the vehicles fueled by flammable liquid
- AEBS: Car-to-car and car-to-VRU
- to clarify the test procedures
- Other lamps: Specify photometric/ colorimetric requirements, etc. for other lamps
- Horn: Specify the test condition for the EV traction battery
- Traction battery: testing direction for vibration test and crush test
