The revised KMVSS TP 1-2 for automated vehicles was promulgated. The revision seeks to revise the test procedures necessary for the implementation of the promulgated KMVSS Table 27. It improves and supplements current TP as harmonized with UN R 157. Major revisions are as follows:
- Revisions and alignments of test procedures as harmonized with the UN Regulation
- Test for ALKS deactivation by the vehicle controls of the driver, etc
- Test for detection ranges (forward and lateral detection)
- Test for the improved system status display method
- Terminology redefined
- Correction of wording for clarification
The Regulation enters into force on 2022.11.21.
