In line with the KMVSS draft pre-announced in March, KATRI presented revision drafts of KMVSS TP concerning crash safety. The TP drafts update the test procedures according to the KMVSS drafts. The major revsions include the following:
- TP 1. Occupant crash protection
- Expand the scope for frontal ODB test and frontal crash test
- TP 3. Fuel System Integrity
- Expand the test scope of the vehicles fueled by flammable liquid
- TP 47. High Voltage Electric Devices.
- Expand the scope
- Add pole side test
They are mostly harmonized with the UN regulations. However, the rollover test is performed according to FMVSS 301.
