The Enforcement Regulations was promulgated, effective Feb. 10. This revision aims to strengthen the safety control and ensure public health and safety by banning illegal use of biocidal substances and encouraging safe packaging of hazardous chemical products. The revisions include as follows:
- Clarify statements banned for packaging of biocidal products: non-toxic, eco-/nature-friendly, harmlessness, human-/animal-friendly or similar ones
- Add items to be clearly identified in the advertisement of product to prevent any harm caused by its use
- Grant longer grace periods to be well prepared for the labeling and advertising requirements
