Vehicle owners have complained that in a number of cases recall services are delayed due to the shortage of parts, infrastructure or technical staff. However, they are not informed of any detailed information on the recall plan. To address this matter, a bill was proposed by a group of lawmakers.
Under the bill, the vehicle manufacturer shall:
- include detailed information such as plans on parts supply and workshop operation , etc. in the rectification plan
- notify vehicle owners of the details on the plans
