A group of lawmakers presented a bill proposal for MVCA revision concerning CSMS and SUMS to elaborate the draft presented in 2021. The major provisions include the following:
- Define the main concepts concerning CSMS and software updates
- Specify requirements for CSMS certification, management, data submission, penalties for non-compliance
- Specify requirements for safe delivery of software updates, defect rectification & investigation on software updates, prevention of unauthorized manipulation and installation, penalties for non-compliance
