The revision draft KMVSS TP 1-2 for automated vehicles was pre-announced. The draft seeks to revise the test procedures necessary for the implementation of the pre-announced revision draft of KMVSS Table 27. It improves and supplements current TP as harmonized with UN R 157. It is expected to enter into force on November 30, 2022. Major revisions are as follows:
- Revisions and alignments of test procedures as harmonized with the UN Regulation
- Test for ALKS deactivation by the vehicle controls of the driver, etc
- Test for detection ranges (forward and lateral detection)
- Test for the improved system status display method
- Terminology redefined
- Correction of wording for clarification
