In line with the Regulations for New Car Assessment Program (NCAP) promulgated on June 3, 2022, KATRI presented a draft for technical requirements of KNCAP: Operation Procedure and Assessment Protocol (OPAP) and Test Protocol (TP).
The draft intends to:
- Delegate the revision/establishment/abolishment of the technical requirements to the performance testing agency, KATRI
- Separately govern the technical requirements and notify the updates on the KNCAP website (www.kncap.org)
- Simplify the legislation process
- Transfer all the Tables (test procedures) and some provisions under the Regulations to the OPAP and TP
