In line with the Act for Promotion for Eco-friendly Vehicles’ Supply and Development to be enforced from January 28, 2022, its Enforcement Ordinance sets forth detailed requirements. It aims to foster the industry through support for eco-friendly vehicle-related companies*, create large-scale demand through the purchase target system, and improve charging convenience.
| * Under the Article 2 of the Act, eco-friendly vehicle-related company means: – a company which manufactures and assembles eco-friendly vehicles or parts – a company which produces eco-friendly vehicle charging facilities or hydrogen fuel supply facilities, or provides services for installation and operation of the facilities – a company which meets the qualification determined by the Presidential Ordinance |
The revised provisions under the Ordinance include as follows;
- The eco-friendly vehicle-related companies include a company recycling eco-friendly vehicle parts, a company subject to the purchase target system (passenger transportation operator, vehicle rental service operator), etc.
- Financial supports (loans) are provided to eco-friendly vehicle-related companies such as charging facilities.
