This revision specifies the 2021~2030 FE standards under MOTIE in line with the ‘Regulations for Motor Vehicle Average Fuel Economy Standards, Greenhouse Gases Emission Standards, and Their Application and Management of MOE promulgated 16 Feb. 2021. In addition, it makes minor modifications and adds a new form for EV MCT test report.
- The engine type for FE model family is included.
- The “witness testing” for the compliance test is deleted to reduce the burden on vehicle manufacturers.
- The MOTIE may request the FE test report issued by the testing agency, if the in-house facility testing is approved using the MOE’s audit result.
- The test report form for EV MCT is newly added.
- The 2021~2030 FE standards are reflected in the Regulation.
