This revision draft specifies the 2021~2030 FE standards under MOTIE in line with the ‘Regulations for Motor Vehicle Average Fuel Economy Standards, Greenhouse Gases Emission Standards, and Their Application and Management of MOE promulgated 16 Feb. 2021. In addition, it makes minor modifications and adds a new form for EV MCT test report.
- Include the engine type for FE model family
- Reduce the burden on vehicle manufacturers by deleting “witness testing” for the compliance test every three years
- Exclude PHEV, FCEV from FE rating system since they have the efficient electric system
- Specify the test report form for EV MCT
- Update 2021~2030 FE standards
