KATRI presented a draft of KMVSS TP 1-2 for Level 3 automated vehicles as harmonized UN R 157. The draft seeks to detail, clarify and align the requirements with the KMVSS Table 27_Partially Automated Driving System, presented in April. Major revisions are as follows:
- Harmonize the requirements of the lane change scenarios with the UN R which add the following:
- Following a lead vehicle traveling at a constant speed/accelerating/decelerating
- Following a lead vehicle suddenly decelerating and coming to a stop
- Cut in Tests with a cut in vehicle with other TimeToCollisions (TTC), relative distance, etc.
- Cut in Tests with a cut in vehicle with different lateral speed and lateral accelerations
- Clarify the test speed for the subject vehicle in the avoidance test (60km or higher)
