Under the Act promulgated on December 1, 2021, fire extinguishers must be installed on PCs for 5 persons or more, effective December 1, 2024 for AT. With the revision draft, the installation requirements of fire extinguishers for vehicles are transferred from the KMVSS Article 57 (Fire extinguisher) to the Regulations.
For PCs, fire extinguishers must be installed or kept as specified below:
- At least 1 fire extinguisher
- At a place convenient to use
- Capacity unit of 1 or greater
