In line with the revised AEPA (promulgated on Dec. 29, 2020), its Enforcement Regulations was promulgated to improve the defect rectification process.
The provisions include as follows:
- Improve the judgment process for in-use vehicle compliance test to be more reasonable and feasible
- Extend the period for the submission/supplement of the defect rectification plan
- Improve the regulations for effective implementation
