Mr. Kim is a CEO. He has over 20 years of diversified experience in automobile industry serving clients across globe. He is now responsible for managing client relationship, assisting clients with solving complex issues that require highly experienced consultation accumulated through in-depth knowledge in both engineering and regulatory framework in automotive industry.

He was a former homologation manager at Hansung Motors and Nissan Korea where he was in charge of launching over 60 new vehicles into Korea, involving from certification planning to after sales management process. He founded HI Consulting company in 2012 and since then has advised over 10 global car manufactures while serving as an official translator for all the laws and regulations relevant to automobile industry released in Korea on behalf of KAIDA from 2012 to 2020.

Mr. Kim is a Executive Director. He has broad knowledge and experience obtained from working in risk, compliance and financial management consultancy sector for over 15 years.

He now serves as a point of contact for risk & compliance management to ensure a high quality of our advisory services by looking after day-to-day operational process. Prior to HI Consulting, Mr. Kim was a Director at PwC Consulting in Korea (known as Samil Accounting Firm), where his primary responsibility was to lead various consulting projects, including but not limited to, regulatory risk assessment, enterprise risk management, compliance framework development, compliance audit, and government inspection advisory for both multinational companies operated in Korea and large domestic listed companies.

He is a Certified Public Accountant registered in New York state.

Mr. Kim is a Leader of Certification & Regulation. He has accumulated a wide range of knowledge and experience in Korean and overseas regulations over 5 years. He has also an experience of translating automotive regulations delegated from KAIDA.

He provides a summary of regulations and industry trend based on extensive knowledge and a regulatory risk assessment by analyzing differences between past and present regulations so that the customer can comprehend the regulation easily and prevent possible problems.

Mr. Son is a translator who translates Korean laws related to automobiles into English. When new Korean laws related to automobiles are enacted or amended, he translates these laws. Before translating, he first researches European or American laws to see if there are any parts that are in harmony with the Korean laws that have been enacted or amended. Before joining HIC, he worked as an English education specialist and part-time translator.

Mr. Kim is in charge of translation tasks. His 20 years or more of experience in domestic and international manufacturing companies, as well as his global expertise, are valuable assets to HIC, as he provides customized translation services that meet customer needs and are tailored to the industry. Prior to joining HIC, Mr. Kim worked as a HR head for major domestic manufacturing companies such as Samsung SDI, Doosan Infracore, Hyundai Elevator, etc. and a foreign company such as WIKA Group, a German multinational company.

Mr. Lee graduated from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School with a JD degree (cum laude) and a Master of Laws (LLM) in Intellectual Property Laws from the same school. After graduating from law school, he was in charge of corporate law and intellectual property rights cases as an in-house lawyer and legal advisor for various companies. In particular, Mr. Lee successfully managed a wide range of issues involving trademark rights, corporate law, and business contracts while serving as a legal advisor for a national supermarket chain for five years before joining Song Law Firm. Mr. Lee was admitted to practice law in the State of New York and has worked in Song Law Firm as an associate attorney in charge of its civil, corporate law, and intellectual property rights cases.

Mr. Hong has extensive experience in vehicle homologation and regulation translation related to motor vehicles. He has worked for various companies and have been involved in homologation projects for a number of different vehicle brands, including Jaguar Land Rover, Toyota, Volvo, BYD, and Mitsubishi. In 1998, he established his own company called SamsTech, which specializes in vehicle homologation. He has also worked as a service manager and technical manager for Inchcape Korea, respectively, where they were mainly responsible for homologation projects for brands such as Rolls Royce, Jaguar, Land Rover, GM, Toyota, and Suzuki. More recently, he has worked as a translation quality advisor at HIC.

Ms. Kim is a member of the general affairs team. She supports the stable operation of the organization in various fields such as finance and facility management.
